Learning Outcome (a)

Communicate with Parents/Caregivers, Families/Whanau and Community

Evidence 1.) Parent/Teacher Interview - George St Normal School, Term 2

Evidence 2.) Letter to parents/caregivers regarding my Dance Unit in Term 3 (see below)

Hello,
For the end of Term assembly, Room 3 will be performing a ‘Greedy Cat’ themed dance.  For this performance they will need their black clothing (tights, t-shirt) they wore for Polyfest and Stars on Stage.  It would be greatly appreciated if you could have the children bring these with them on Friday.
Kind Regards

Bridget

Evidence 3.)  Letter to Parents, Caregivers, Whanau

Hello,

My name is Bridget Pauley, I am a student at the Otago of University College of Education, studying towards a Graduate Diploma in Primary Teaching.  During terms 3 and 4, I will be completing my final practicum in your child's classroom.

During these practicums I will be visiting and teaching every Monday and Tuesday, with a 3 week and 4 week practicum at the end of term 3 and 4.  During this time I will be teaching the current classroom routines as well as implementing my own dance, writing and maths units.  I will also be assisting with Enviro Fridays, and the Stars on Stage and Polyfest performances.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in Room 3 thus far, and look forward to getting to know all the students.  If you have any questions or queries or would simply like to say hello, feel free to come and see me before or after class, I would love to meet you.

Kind Regards,

Bridget Pauley
